Cities don’t exist in a vacuum. They rely upon critical infrastructure provisioning systems beyond their boundaries to provide food, water, energy, buildings, waste management, transportation, and more. As the world’s urban population grows—while facing significant challenges like air pollution, water scarcity, climate change, and pandemics—urban systems are perhaps the most important arena in which we must achieve sustainability.

On December 4, 2020, participants in Princeton University's Community Auditing Program listened to a lecture about sustainble urban systems given by Prof. Anu Ramaswami.
