Kyle Gschwend is a senior at Princeton University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and minors in Sustainable Energy and Urban Studies. His senior thesis in the Urban Nexus Lab focuses on the relationship between urban form and transportation in India and quantifies the effectiveness of potential GHG interventions. His research interests broadly encapsulate decarbonizing transportation and electricity systems. Gschwend is a captain of the Princeton University Volleyball team. He hopes to pursue energy system research through industry before pursuing further education through master’s or PhD programs.
